As per your Show Contract, you are expected to be at every rehearsal you are called for with the exception of dates stated on your audition sheet or conflicts that have been communicated to DeLapp in advance.
Please add the below "Rehearsal Calendar" to your personal calendars so you can be knowledgable of your commitments and the rehearsal process. |
Your script is sacred. Please make sure you keep it accessible at all times. When you are done with school work during the day, we recommend that you work on memorization. Additionally, for those of you that have lines, this also becomes homework. You should anticipate spending about 20mins a day working on memorization.

PUBLICITY and MARKETING:
It is our collective responsibility to publicize our work. If we want an audience we have to tell people about our show! You will have many opportunities to help with this.
- Social Media Squares - DeLapp will create and share social media squares that she is asking you post to your IG page or stories. You should also follow @westparkpayers and share the posts we will be making to help spread the word!
- Show Posters! Yes, these are awesome for you to keep and hang in your bedrooms, but we also want to put them out in the community. Every cast member will be asked to hang up TWO posters in the community.
- Show Shirts!! Every cast member will have the opportunity to buy a "Show Shirt". Not only are these a great keepsake, they are also great for walking publicity! We will have special days when we will be wearing our show shirts on campus and hopefully out in the community! More information on these to come.
- Community Sponsor Competition - we will be trying to cultivate community support for our shows by asking if local businesses would be interested in purchasing an advertising spot in our program. Which ever cast member gets the most sponsorships will win either a Show Shirt Hoodie or a Drama Department Hoodie AND a $20 gift card.
