Casting is a puzzle and can sometimes be daunting. There is a lot that goes into it and I see your commitment and passion. Remember, your audition is successful if you learned something new about your artistry and if you did your best.
Not every role is right for every actor—even if that actor came fully prepared, felt that they were better than everyone else, or felt it was their turn for a role. The entire directing team weighs in on these decisions for the good of the show and for the development of each performer. Each student is cast solely on their fit for a given role as revealed through a rigorous and thoughtful audition process.
If you were not cast, we encourage you to stay involved with us. There are a lot of opportunities to get involved including tech for this show! Stayed tuned for announcements about Tech Sign Ups, fundraising, and bonding opportunities. Follow @westparkplayers on Instagram to stay informed.
